When you complete a form on this platform we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, the organisation you represent and the message you send. Organisations that apply for a website also submit organisation registration and leadership details.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, process a membership, volunteer or partnership request, or set up an organisation's website. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone outside the organisation you contacted, except where the law requires it.
Consent
Every form on this platform asks you to confirm that you agree to your details being used for that purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, and we will remove your details unless we are legally required to keep them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as is needed to deal with them and to keep a record of the organisation's engagement with the community. Records that are no longer needed are deleted.
How it is protected
Information is stored in a secure database with access limited to the staff of the organisation you contacted and the platform administrators. Connections to this site are encrypted.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us and we will respond.
