A membership-driven forum for entrepreneurs, cooperatives and youth
Established on 5 August 2009 and registered 133-192 NPO with the National Department of Social Development.
Our mission
Setshaba Sotlhe National Business Forum wants all SMME entrepreneurs to be productive by bringing information and establishing strategic partnerships which ensure entrepreneurs grow financially and improve the local economy of their communities through proper knowledge. The Forum is a platform and opportunity to unite and educate the business community about entrepreneurship, with our youth at the centre of our mission and development.
Why we were founded
- SMMEs don't know where to get information.
- SMMEs don't know what is due to them from government and the private sector.
- SMMEs lack the training and skills to operate their businesses successfully.
- SMMEs do not fully understand the advantages of compliance.
- SMMEs need a space where like-minded people meet and share experiences.
- SMMEs need to pool resources and work towards a common goal.
- SMMEs need a strategic plan to succeed, and youth need support programmes.

Localise procurement by outsourcing jobs to local enterprises.
Provide information and education on tendering.
Engage SMMEs, NPOs and cooperatives on infrastructure and development programmes.

Link members to relevant stakeholders that support and enhance their sectors.
